ADVIL: Believe My Pain

In a recent study, Advil asked 2,000 Americans about their pain experiences and found that 3 in 4 Black people said there is bias in how pain is diagnosed and treated. In response to this disturbing statistic, Advil announced hashtag#TheAdvilPainEquityProject, a commitment to address systemic racial bias in the diagnosis and treatment of pain.

These stories and this campaign shine a light on the great disparity within our healthcare system and create an opportunity for patients and healthcare experts to come together on solutions and resources for equitable treatment.
